Abstract

512,986. Excluding draughts. SPENCER MOULTON & CO., Ltd., G., and GLASCODINE, R. T. March 21, 1938, No. 8607. [Class 20 (iii)] A draught excluding strip consists of channel-section resilient material having inturned lips 10 which engage with grooves 12 formed in faces of a door, window or the like. The edge portion 14 of the door 7 enclosed by the strip may be of reduced width so that the strip lies flush with the door faces, and may be so dimensioned as to leave an air space 15 between the edge of the door and the base of the strip. The strip may be fitted to the edges of divided swing doors, or to sliding doors or windows, and may be secured to the moving or stationary parts thereof or to both.
