Abstract
382,076. Inductances. DOWDING, G. V., 215, Hainault Road, London. Oct. 31, 1931., No. 30226. [Class 37.] A tuning inductance comprises a relatively movable coil and magnetic core, the movable member being coupled to a switch which is operated at one or more predetermined points. Long and short wave coils A, B are mounted on a former 1 inside which a magnetic core 5 provided with a flat base is moved by an insulating rod 2. The rod 2 drives reduction gear 7, 8 which carries a cam 9 operating switch blades 11 to open the normally shortcircuited long wave coil A.
