Abstract
414,707. Inductances. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., Magnet House, Kingsway, London, TURNER, H. C., and POLGREEN, G. R., c/o Salford Electrical Instruments, Ltd., Silk Street, Salford. Feb. 9, 1933, No. 3975. [Class 37.] Core parts 1, 2 are mounted on an insulating base 5, a non-magnetic cup screen 7 resting on a metal base-plate 6 which may have an upturned flange, the screen being formed with parts 8 nearer to the central core part 2 so that the inductive effects may be varied by moving the screen without concomitant movement of either the core or coil. The parts 8 may be separate bent elements, or the cup may have parts of varying thickness. Specifications 277,998, [Class 37], and 405,623 are referred to.
