370,918. Wick burners. SHELLMEX, Ltd., St. Helens Court, Great St. Helens, London, RICHARDSON, A. W., 60, Cambridge Road, Teddington, Middlesex, and ABBOTT, A. R., 13, St. Stephens Avenue, Shepherds Bush, London. Nov. 13, 1930, No. 34235. [Class 75 (i).] In a n o i lamp, cooker, heater or the like in which a casing, globe, canopy, draught shield &c. is raised in order to give access to the burner when the wick is to be lighted, a rod 9 on the casing 3 engages a radial arm 10 adjustably secured by a set-screw 12 on the wick-operating spindle 5 as the casing is lowered and moves the spindle until the wick is in a position which has been found to give the desired flame. Specification 369,196 is referred to. The Provisional Specification states that the casing mav be connected to the rod on the wickoperating spindle by means of an adjustable link.
