366,665. Friction clutches. STANLEY, G. E., 92, Godiva Street, Coventry. Dec. 20, 1930, No. 38436. [Class SO (ii).] Friction annuli 11 are flexibly secured to flexible clutch plates by independent means. Preferably, a flexible sliding clutch plate consists of two or more spring plates riveted together at their centres and each carrying upon radial spokes 8 slightly spaced segments 5 with the spaces 9 on the various plates staggered, the rim segments being secured together and to outer friction annuli 11 by cork or other flexible rivets 12 compressed into holes in the parts and projecting slightly beyond the annuli as the latter wear.
