Feb. 9, 1931, No. 4046. Convention date, Feb. 7, 1930. [Class 83 (ii) and 83 (iv).] Brazing. - Electric contacts are formed of a bundle of laminµ 8 the ends 9, 10 and middle 17 of the bundle being brazed together or otherwise formed into a solid mass. The individual laminµ are first tinplated or otherwise coated with brazing material over the requisite length and then assembled and compressed in the presence of heat. The heat may be derived by passing an electric current through the laminae or by treatment in a vacuum furnace with the pressure suitably maintained.
