558,391. Electric resistance heaters. MOORE, B. J., and MOORE, B. C. June 25, 1942, No. 8702. [Class 39 (iii)] Electric resistance heaters of the kind described in Specification 546,449 comprising a sinuous strip 10 of nickel-chromium alloy are extended to form the current leads, and additional strips 11 of nickel, iron, or a nickelchromium alloy of different proportions, e.g. 60:40 are welded thereto. The added strips are of higher electrical conductivity, and approximately similar coefficient of expansion.
