Abstract

481,197. Electric heating wire resistances. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., and HUMPHREYS, O. W. Sept. 9, 1936, No. 24621. [Class 39 (iii)]. In the manufacture of an electric heating element of the sheathed-wire type, the sheathed resistance is dipped into a liquid bonding materialwhich enters the spaces between the particles of the refractory insulation in the sheath and bonds the particles together. The bonding-material may be silicon ester. Specification 436,405, [Group XXXVI], is referred to.
