Abstract
An alloy for making one lamina of a bimetallic strip is composed of 64 per cent. iron and 36 per cent. nickel. The other lamina consists of 75 per cent. iron, 22 per cent. nickel and 3 per cent. chromium. A resistance heating wire consists of 75 per cent. nickel, 12 per cent. iron, 11 per cent. chromium and 2 per cent. manganese.
