Abstract
357,776. Rollers. REDDAWAY & CO., Ltd., F., Cheltenham Street, and MUSKETT, J., 42, Delamere Avenue, both in Pendleton, Lancashire. Sept. 24, 1930, No. 28519. [Class 42 (ii).] In a pneumatic roller 'of the kind described in Specification 118,054, [Class 42 (ii), Fabrics, Treating otherwise &c.], the rubber tubing d instead of being wound on the metal spindle a is wound outside a pneumatic chamber cx concentric with the spindle. As shown the collar b at each end of the spindle is extended at b<1> and hollowed out at b<2> and the flexible sleeve c is secured by wires c<1> in the grooves b<2>. Air under pressure is supplied to the chamber c<x> and the tube d through a hole e in the spindle. Specifications 11032/01 and 2606/15, [both in Class 42 (ii), Fabrics, Treating otherwise &c.], also are referred to.
