Abstract

681,448. Sealing pipes. LEACOCK, P. P. April 9, 1951 [Feb. 6, 1950], No. 3002/50. Class 99 (ii). A bag 1, e.g. of rubber, having side panels 1c arranged to collapse when the bag is deflated is carried at one end of an extendible rod 2 and when located in a conduit is inflated or deflated through a flexible tube 4. The bag may be of elongated form and secured to the rod by a sleeve 1a. A wheel 3 may be carried by the rod so that while the rod traverses the conduit friction is reduced.
