665,068. Pneumatic tyres. DUNLOP RUBBER CO., Ltd., and HARDEMAN, W. E. Sept. 15, 1950 [Oct. 27, 1949], No. 27542/49. Class 144 (ii). A dual-chamber pneumatic tyre comprises an inner reinforced air-tube 3 and an outer tube 4 bonded together at the rim-seating base-portion 5 through which a single inflation-valve 6 extends into the inner tube 3, communication between the tubes being effected through a nipple 7 embedded in a rubber band 12 having passages 11, the outer ends of which open into the air-chamber 4. The valve 6 and nipple 7 are circumferentially spaced.
