Vulcanizing, cores for.-A vulcanizing-core consists of a rigid hollow member about which is positioned an extensible sleeve with means for admitting a pressure or heating medium to the annular space thus formed independently of the interior of the rigid member. A flexible sleeve 1 is clamped to the ends of a rigid body 6 by caps 7, 8. Heating medium is admitted to the interior of the body 6 by a pipe 10a, and evacuated by a pipe 11a, while pressure fluid is admitted to and withdrawn from the outer space by pipes 10, 11. Simplified modifications are described in which fluid is supplied only to the outer space.
