Air tubes and chambers. - The high-pressure tube of the tyre described in the parent Specification is now replaced by two such tubes l<1>, l<2>, Fig. 3, a solid rubber body i, Fig. 1, or two hollow rubber bodies i<1>, i<2>, Fig. 6. In the form shown in Fig. 3, the valve k for the low-pressure tube d passes between the tubes l<1>, l<2> which are enclosed in a fabric sleeve m<1>, m<2> and a rubber fitting b. The sleeve is provided with wires j<1>, j<2> at its edges. In a modification of this form, the outer periphery of the sleeve m', m<2> is given a flat profile by means of embedded wires.
