Abstract

309,311. Fetter, E. April 13, 1928. Vulcanizing tyres.-A tyre-tube vulcanizing mould of the watch-case type comprises members 10, 11 which can readily be replaced by others so as to produce various sizes of tube. The upper portion of the mould carries loosely a flat ring member 20 and a flexible bag 25 which is supported with pressure fluid to force the member 20 against the members 10, 11 after the mould has been closed by the locking ring 3. The base member 18 and the members 10, 11, 20 are connected together by pipes which may be flexible and are supplied with heating fluid.
