Abstract

Copper alloys containing titanium, particularly those containing up to 4 per cent of titanium with or without up to 10 per cent of one or more of the metals iron, nickel, cobalt, chromium, manganese, and molybdenum, and with or without up to 5 per cent of one or more of the elements silicon, magnesium, and aluminium, are quenched or cooled in air from about 650-1000 DEG C. and thereafter aged at about 250-600 DEG C.
