Abstract

Nickel-molybdenum alloys containing from 8 to 30 per cent of molybdenum are improved by rapidly cooling from above 900 DEG C. and then annealing at 400-800 DEG C. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) states that the alloys may contain, in addition, up to 40 per cent of one or more elements such as copper, aluminium, cobalt, chromium, iron, and manganese. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
