Abstract

Malleable age-hardenable aluminium alloys contain 3-5 per cent of copper, 0.7-1 per cent of magnesium, 0.4-0.58 per cent of silicon, and 0.6-1.4 per cent of manganese, the magnesium and silicon being in such proportions that they are present substantially wholly as magnesium silicide. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 describes also the subject-matter of Specification 390,121. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
