Abstract

Aluminium alloys contain 4-12 per cent of copper, 0,05-1,5 per cent of cadmium, and 0,1-10 per cent of lead, with or without 0,05-1,5 per cent of bismuth. Preferably the alloys contain 4-6 per cent of copper, 0,05-1,5 per cent of cadmium, and either 1 per cent of lead or 0,5 per cent each of lead and bismuth. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 describes also alloys containing bismuth without lead. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
