April 3, 1930, No. 10619. Convention date, April 3, 1929. [Class 110 (iii).] In a multi-pressure steam turbine, such as for live steam and accumulator steam operation, having nozzle group regulation, as by valves c<1> .. c<12>, and separate inlet chests a, b, some or all of the nozzle groups are connected with each of the inlets. In the Figure, the nozzle groups e, f, g are so connected and the valves controlling them are interlocked so as to prevent more than one supply being used in any one of these groups at the same time. These groups are supplied with steam only in the case of heavy load.
