235,174. Erste Br³nner Maschinen- Fabriks-Ges. June 5, 1924, [Convention date]. Regulating.-A high-pressure steam turbine is provided with inlets 9-11 for the first stage which, using full admission, supply half load, additional inlets 5-8 for live steam to a lower stage being requisitioned for three-quarter load, and further inlets 1-4 admitting live steam to a still lower stage being opened for full load. By subdividing the auxiliary inlet spaces into separated nozzle, groups 14-17, 18-21, regulation between the main partial loads may be effected by cutting-out nozzle groups. Similarly the first inlets 9-11 may lead to separated nozzle groups to permit further regulation.
