Abstract
213,813. Erste Br³nner Maschinen- Fabriks Ges. April 30, 1923, [Convention date]. Blades, nozzles, and the like; regulating: stators; leakage-preventing devices.-In a steam or gas turbine in which additional driving-fluid is introduced through separate passages k, k' in one or more guide stages l, so that the driving fluids only mix beyond the said guide stages, a series of separate blades having thin partitions form each stage l. The additional steam, which may be at the same or a different pressure from that of the main supply, enters a chamber a', isolated from the turbine interior by a packing ring b, and passes through a passage f in a supporting cylinder c to the passages k<1>.
