Abstract
345,543. Valve generating circuits. ESAU, A., 1, Sophienstrasse, Jena, Germany. April 29, 1930, No. 13221. Convention date, July 25, 1929. [Class 40 (v).] Apparatus for the production of ultra short waves comprises a four-electrode valve having an electrode at high positive potential situated between the filament and an electrode at low negative potential, an additional electrode being connected to one pole of the external work circuit, the other pole of which is connected to one of the biased electrodes. The drawing shows a twogrid valve in which the grid G is at a high potential with respect to the anode A while the grid G2 is negatively biased. The output dipoles Di are coilnected to the anode and grid G1. Efficiency is increased by connecting valves in parallel.
