Abstract

278,446. Jackson, J. G. April 9, 1926. Converting currents.-A device for smoothing a pulsating current for wireless purposes consists of an inductance 4 in series with an electrolytic condenser 1 consisting of a number of cells separated by conducting partitions 2 forming the electrodes. The partitions 2 are provided with terminals 3, so that tappings can be taken from them. A second inductance 5 is arranged to shunt the inductance 4 and be in series with the tapped-off portion of the condenser as shown.
