[Class 7 (ii).] A perforated cone a is fitted within the induction pipe with its apex towards the carburetter, the mixture passing through a series of tangential holes into the interior and creating a swirl therein ; the mixture passes out from the mixing chamber through a truncated cone b, the outlet being of such a diameter as to cause the stream to reach a high velocity.
