[Class 135.] A two-level tap or cock, particularly for petrol supply, comprises a pair of cork or like packed cylindrical plugs d independently slidable at opposite ends of a casing body a and operating in conjunction with two inlet passages i, j from two different levels and a single transverse outlet passage m. One plug is arranged to control the outlet whilst the other plug controls one only of the inlet passages, as shown. Rotation of the plugs is prevented by pins g engaging grooves n, and adjustment of the cork &c. packings is effected by screwing down the operating knobs f on the spindles b the adjustment being secured by the lock-nuts h.
