Abstract

337,975. MacGregor, R.. Nov. 8, 1929. Hatches.-A hatch cover comprises plates 1, 2 provided with rollers 7 which travel along the hatch coaming and rollers 5 carried by legs 4 which may be integral with the cover framing and which travel along rail 6 secured to the deck. In a modification, the hatch coaming is stepped and the inner sections 9, 10, Fig. 4, of the hatches may be run back over the outer sections 1, 2 to open the centre of the hatchway.
