U-tube superheaters, - A superheater7 arranged in the return or combustion chamber 17 of a return-tube boiler is protected from the direct impact of the gases from the furnace flue B by a partition wall 21. The superheating tubes extend through the whole height of the return chamber and their inlet ends open directly into the boiler steam space.
