Abstract
325,540. Liban, T. Nov. 21, 1928. Fluxes.-In a method of coating iron articles by dipping them into molten zinc or zincaluminium alloy, the flux used contains an alkalialuminium chloride in addition to zinc chloride and/or sal-ammoniac. In an example the flux contains 0.5-6.0 per cent of sodium aluminium chloride, 10-20 per cent of sal-ammoniac and 74-89.5 per cent of zinc chloride. The process is carried out as described in Specification 281,357.
