Two-stroke-cycle engines; cylinders, cooling; casings.-In a radial-cylinder engine having a common combustion chamber p to all the cylinders, the water jackets c<1>, c<2>, c<3> for the cylinders are formed in separate sections which are secured to, and communicate with, a central jacket member b. Baffles d<1>, d<2>, d<3> are provided in the member b. Leakage of water from the jacket collects in the casing k and is drained at l. Air for scavenging and combustion is supplied to the casing k. Cylinders, pipes and ports of.-Two of the cylinders are formed with air-inlet ports m, and the third cylinder has exhaust ports n leading to a conduit o which passes through the casing k with a tight joint. Driving-gear.-The pistons are provided with gudgeons f carrying rollers engaging a cam track @k fixed to a rotatable drum i.
