Abstract
308,087. Dawson Bros., Ltd., Dawson, G., and Dawson, D. H. March 22, 1928. Moving-chamber apparatus.-In apparatus for delivering milk or other liquid, a measuring chamber 1 is immersed in the liquid in a tank 3, filled through holes 8, raised, and discharged through a central unobstructed tube 2, on which it is slidably mounted. The raising means comprise a cap 5 which is lifted by the bottle or receptacle to be filled, and connected to the chamber 1 by rods 4 which either abut on the cover 6 as shown, or pass through glands in the bottom of the tank 3 and abut on the bottom of the chamber 1. The liquid is delivered through a pipe 9 which screws into or slides in the tube 2.
