Apparatus fitted to filling-machines.-In a machine for filling liquids and semi-liquids into receptacles, the receptacle is placed on a weighing scale m on the base a of the machine, or on a weighing scale m<1> adjustably secured to a tube b, which supports the filling-head mechanism, and adapted to be turned out of the way behind the tube when the scale m is in use. When the scale pan falls, an electric connection is made to close the filling valve in known manner.
