Moving-chamber apparatus.-Receptacles fare charged from a main supply a through pivoted measuring containers b arranged in a vertical series, the overflow from each container flowing into the container beneath it. One wall of the container d may be slotted at the necessary height, the outflow passage being bent forwardly beneath the container. In a modification, vertically-adjustable overflow pipes out of alignment with each other are fitted. The containers are tipped simultaneously. Either the containers b or the receptacles f may be mounted on a movable framework.
