[Class 106 (v)] A tank-is provided with one or more out - lets, on each of which rests a ball forming a valve, the outlets leading to measuring chambers, the outlets of which are also similarly provided with balls. The balls c closing the outlets g of the tank are raised by ring mem- .bers h suspended from a cross-piece n. The measuring chambers b are also fitted with balls d resting on the upper ends of outlet members t which are moved upwards to effect discharge. The apparatus may be used for filling bottles presented by a conveyer in rows, the bottles being raised to operate the members t.
