745,017. Disinfecting apparatus for waterwaste-preventers. WHITTLE, T. June 2, 1954 [Aug. 31, 1953], No. 23970/53. Class 26. A liquid dispersing device adapted to discharge disinfectant into a flushing cistern at each operation thereof comprises a container 1 adapted to sink in water, with a removable top 3 and two tubes 5 and 6 of different bore passing through the top, the narrower tube 5 extending nearly to the bottom of the container and the wider tube 6 projecting further above the container. In order to vary the volume of discharged liquid, the tubes may be adjustable in height, or removable extension pieces attached to them. The Provisional Specification refers to a removable filling plug.
