Class 106(5) A liquid dispensing device incorporated in or adapted to be fitted to a bottle or container 1 having a flexible wall or provided with other means for reducing its volume, comprises a dosage measuring chamber 3 connected with a discharge opening on nozzle 5 and also provided with a tube 6 extending downwardly from the level in the dosage chamber to which the liquid is to reach for each dose, the tube being adapted to extend into the liquid in the container whereby, when the container volume is reduced, the liquid will be forced up the tube into the dosage chamber. When the container is allowed to return to its normal volume excess liquid is sucked back into the container and the measured quantity left in the dosage receptacle is then dispensed by inverting the container and again compressing it. Alternatively, the nozzle 5 may be sufficiently large to allow the measured quantity to be poured out. The device may be made of plastic material, such as polythene. and the tube 6 may be arranged along the outside of the chamber 3 and extend through the wall thereof.
