Moving - chamber apparatus operated by the receptacle.- T h e measuring chamber consists of a hollow cylinder 7 slidable within a sleeve 5 carried in a bracket 4 secured to the mouth of the bottle or other inverted container 1. The chamber is filled by way of the passages 3a and port 7b, there being an air vent from the upper part of the container through passage 8 and port 7c. A depending rod 11 carries an apertured bracket 15 against which a tumbler may be pressed, elevating the chamber 7 until an opening 7d therein registers with a port 10 in the delivery passage 14. An opening 17 simultaneously registers with the port 7c.
