314,257. Paterson, T. W. Aug. 4, 1928. Fixed-chamber apparatus.-Either a half or the whole of the whisky &c. contained in the glass measuring chamber 12 may be delivered by the tap 9. The bottle &c. is attached to the tubular extension 15 and the tap set to permit the liquid to pass by way of the tube 1 and passage 2 into the chamber 12. An air-tube ascends from a predetermined point 4 in the wall of the tube 1 into the upper part of the supplying container, and liquid ceases to enter the chamber 12 when the opening 4 is obstructed. The tap 9 having been turned through 90‹, the liquid is discharged to the level of the top of tube 5. Angular movement of the tap through another 180‹, permits the second half of the liquid to run out through the aperture 5<a>.
