Moving - chamber apparatus for liquids. -Two open-topped containers la, 1<b>, integral one with another, are mounted on an axis 2 so that one is filling while the other is emptying. The containers are formed by front and back retaining walls, with glass panels, in the form of discs enclosing partition walls as shown. Liquid is supplied by a pipe 8, and, as shown, the container 1<b> fills to the level of the spout or lip 4<b>, the excess flowing down the channel 5 to the vessel 11 and outlet 12 to the source of supply. The containers then oscillate on the axis 2, and the liquid in the container 1<b> runs out through the sump 10 and outlet 9. The movements are limited by stops 3<a>, 3<b>.
