Abstract

310,646. Humphreys, E. W. April 18, 1928. Feeding-appliances for animals.-A device for supplying food to animals or poultry after a desired interval of time comprises a container g carried on a pivoted block e that also carries a water or sand receptacle h. This latter receptacle is provided with a tap or similar outlet through which the liquid can escape at a predetermined rate. After a certain quantity of water escapes the food container overbalances and its contents are upset on the ground. Other receptacles adapted to upset at different times may also be fitted. The water and the food receptacles may be combined in a single pivoted container.
