Abstract
301,231. Hansen, P. Jan. 14, 1928. Motor power plant.-In a motor power plant in which the exhaust gases of an internal-combustion engine A are passed through a boiler B in which steam is generated for use in a turbine C which drives a pre-compression blower F and an electric generator 25, the cooling water for the cylinder jacket 1 is used as the feed-water for the botler B, and is worked in a closed circuit. The circuit includes a condenser D and a feed pump E. The boiler may also be heated by a coal or oil-fired furnace 16.
