Hot air and gas plant.-Air or other gas compressed in a multi-stage compressor, which has inter-stage cooling and is driven by an internalcombustion engine, is heated by the exhaust gases of the engine and used as the working-fluid for a turbine. The exhaust from the turbine may be used to cool the windings of an electric generator driven by the turbine, and the waste gases from the internal-combustion engine may be utilized to raise steam.
