504,263. Gas turbines. JUNKERS FLUGZEUG - UND - MOTORENWERKE AKT.-GES. Nov. 21, 1938, No. 33787. Convention date, Nov. 22, 1937. [Class 110 (iii)] In a gas turbine T'driven by the exhaust gases from an internal-combustion engine M, and driving a supercharging compressor G, the exhaust gases act on sections 8a of the blades and a current of cooling air from the compressor is passed through the sections 8b. The cooling sections may be on the outer rim, and the cooling air may exert a torque. The rotor may be cooled by circulating a liquid.
