Abstract

300,555. Feyens, A. Nov. 14, 1927, [Convention date]. Valves.-A rotary valve b, having a central exhaust conduit f surrounded by an annular inlet conduit e, is fitted at the cylinder ports with piston packing-members c pressed against the valve by the cylinder pressure and adjusted from the outside by means of screwed rods n with bevelled ends. In a modification, the piston members c are replaced by annular members fitted in grooves in the valve casing. The bearing at one end of the valve forms a cover to an inlet chamber in communication with the conduit e and with the carburettor.
