289,796. Soc. Alsa Soc. Anon. April 30, 1927, [Convention date]. Cellulose xanthates, processes for making filaments from.-To obtain inflated threads of low apparent specific gravity and without partitions, especially threads of low litre, when employing the processes of Specifications 143,253, 189,973 and 214,197, there is used a coagulating bath containing 10-35 per cent of zinc sulphate. The bath may consist of sulphuric acid and zinc sulphate only; but sodium sulphate and other usual salts, and some glucose &c. may also be added. Specifications 189,639 and 253,953 also are referred to.
