Abstract

Thermionic generators. - In a wireless transmitter and particularly portable short - wave transmitters, an aperiodic anode circuit of a thermionic valve 1 is variably coupled to a tuned aerial circuit 4, 6. The valve and aerial circuits are coupled by fixed condensers 10 - - 12 and a variable condenser 9. The variable condenser is so coupled to the aerial tuning condenser 13 that the tuning is maintained constant when the coupling is varied. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also inductively coupling a coil in the anode circuit to a tuned coil in the aerial. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
