Abstract
281,645. I. G. Farbenindustrie Akt.- Ges. Dec. 1, 1926, [Convention date]. Fixed-chamber apparatus.-Comprises a construction for material that is not very mobile, such as dye-stuffs. A funnel a is attached to a measuring chamber b of rectangular section normally closed by a slide f and having a clear front. The funnel has at its centre a vertical guidechamber c for a vertical plunger provided at the lower end with spring blades which on descent of the plunger spring out in curved form and in opposite directions to cut off the material, and after the slide f has been opened, the plunger is moved down to expel the material. The blades e<2>, e<3> hold the material while the blades e<1> cut off the mesured quantity. The latter blades are moved down to expel the material.
