487,691. Delivering measured quantities of powders. PERESS, J. S. Dec. 29, 1936, No. 35625. [Class 106 (v)] Apparatus for delivering measured quantities of powder comprises a block 1 formed with an inlet passage 2 and an outlet to a delivery nozzle 4, within which block is rotatably mounted a cylindrical member 7 having a single measuring chamber 6 extending from the periphery to beyond the centre of the member and adapted to be adjusted by means of an axially slidable plug 10 of the same non- cylindrical cross-section as the chamber. In order to move the chamber between the filling and discharge positions the member 7 is rotated by a handle 9 co-operating with a stop on the block 1.
