Endless-band conveyers, fibrous, granular, and plastic material carried on.-The material is conveyed on superposed endless-bands a<1>, a<2>, a<3> through a drying-chamber from an inlet b' to an outlet b<2>, flaps c<1>, c<2>, c<3> being provided for preventing the drying air, which passes upwardly through the chamber, from passing around the ends of the conveyers. The flaps may consist of loose curtains or hinged metal plates. Guides h<2> h<3> are provided at the discharge ends of the conveyers.
