The main motor may constantly be supplied with full current, the motion of the turret being wholly controlled by rotation of the worm, in which case an overload current relay with time delay is provided in the main motor, or the speed of rotation of the main motor may be adjustable when an iron-hydrogen lamp current-limiting device is employed in the motor i.
